UDIT partners with AER Automation to strengthen its connection with the Spanish robotics ecosystem
UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, has formalised a partnership agreement with AER Automation, the Spanish Association of Robotics and Automation, with the aim of strengthening its links with one of the technology sectors that promises to transform industry in the coming years.
Thanks to this alliance, UDIT becomes an active member of a collaborative community that brings together leading companies, startups, universities and technology centres, thus demonstrating its strong commitment to university education aligned with the real needs of industry and the labour market.
Joining AER Automation will give UDITgreater visibility and institutional positioning, as well as opening up new strategic networking opportunities , facilitating direct contact with leading companies, innovation centres and other relevant agents in the technological ecosystem. These synergies will favour the development of joint projects, inter-institutional collaborations and new knowledge transfer initiatives.
Likewise, UDIT will have access to commissions and thematic working groups, participating in the design of strategic initiatives and in the elaboration of sectorial proposals that contribute to the advancement of robotics and automation in Spain.
In the field of institutional projection, AER Automation acts as an interlocutor with public administrations and key entities in the sector, offering UDIT a space for representation and participation in collective positions and strategic programmes, including innovation projects, European initiatives and public calls for proposals.
Pepe Marqués Morán, Dean of the Faculty of Technology of UDIT, has underlined the importance of this agreement stating that "the incorporation of UDIT to AER Automation is a key step to continue connecting our training and research with the industrial reality. Being part of this ecosystem allows us to anticipate the needs of the sector and generate real opportunities for our students".
Alex Salvador, managing director of AER Automation, explained that "the incorporation of a centre with the prestige and history of UDIT allows us to strengthen the educational strategy of the Spanish Association of Robotics and Automation, contributing to the much-needed reduction of the gap between academia and industry in our country, and bringing the best of Spanish technological talent to our industrial partners. AER Automation has working groups, commissions and ad-hoc communication channels to make UDIT's involvement effective (and executive)".
