UDIT and the Casa de México Foundation sign a collaboration agreement to promote education and the dissemination of culture.
UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology and the Casa de México Foundation in Spain have signed a collaboration agreement that aims to work together in the areas of training, research, exchange of experiences, dissemination of culture and other activities of common interest.
The Fundación Casa de México en España is a non-profit institution whose mission is to promote the excellence of Mexico and strengthen the relationship between the two countries through the design and implementation of cultural, gastronomic, business and social development programmes. The agreement, signed by Juan Cayón, Rector of UDIT, and Ximena Caraza Campos, General Director of the Fundación Casa de México en España, seeks to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions and contribute to the educational development of both countries.
Among the different lines of work that form part of the agreement, FCME and UDIT are working together to carry out a programme of aid for academic training, through which five Mexican designers will have the opportunity to take an intensive tailor-made course, which will be taught at the university campus facilities, carried out together with the Mexican fashion platform MEXICOUTURE.
Through this type of collaboration and its connection with companies and professionals from the world of fashion, UDIT reaffirms its commitment to the sector and strengthens its leading position in university training in fashion design.
