UDIT and Tendam, a partnership recognised for its commitment to sustainability and innovation

The University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT) has been distinguished together with Tendam, one of the main groups in the fashion sector, in the CSR Commitment Awards, a recognition that highlights the excellence of the Tendam Sustainability Lab as a model of collaboration between company and university.

For UDIT, this award is a validation of the joint work in applied research, innovation and knowledge transfer, consolidating the role of the institution as a benchmark in R&D&I projects aimed at sustainability and social impact.

The rector of UDIT stressed that "it is a source of pride that a company of the prestige of Tendam has placed its trust in us to promote such an ambitious project, aimed at innovation, sustainability and the training of talent". He also added that "this recognition confirms that the path we have travelled together is the right one and encourages us to continue moving forward with more strength".

The Tendam Sustainability Lab, promoted by UDIT's Vice-Rectorate for Research, is based on values of ethics, responsibility and interdisciplinary cooperation, integrating creativity, science and technology to develop sustainable and regenerative solutions in the fashion industry. Its methodology combines applied research and collaborative learning, generating an environment where open innovation and resource optimisation become drivers of transformation in the sector.

This project not only analyses the challenges of the value chain to optimise processes and guarantee traceability, but also promotes the transition towards a circular model, in line with UDIT's mission to train professionals capable of leading positive and sustainable change.

The recognition of the Tendam Sustainability Lab reaffirms UDIT's vocation for research and transformation, which continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability, innovation and the training of talent at the service of society.
