Jorge Chamorro, lecturer in the Degree in Audiovisual Design and Illustration and in the Masters in Graphic Design and Illustration at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, inaugurates a solo exhibition in which he will show his most recent collage work.

The exhibition, which can be visited from Thursday 11 April until Saturday 27 April, will take place at La Factoría de Papel, an exhibition and production space for graphic work located in the heart of Madrid's Lavapiés district that facilitates meetings between creators and collectors and promotes the exchange of ideas and work in the field of graphic art publishing.

Three important events will take place within the framework of the exhibition: the inauguration on Thursday 11 April at 7 p.m.; a guided tour on Thursday 18 April at 7 p.m. in which the artist will explain in detail the works on display and talk about his way of working with collage; and, finally, the closing of the exhibition on Saturday 27 April at 12:30 p.m.

Jorge Chamorro (Madrid, 1972) is a graphic designer, collage artist and teacher. Graduated in Audiovisual Communication in 1995 from the Complutense University of Madrid, Jorge worked as a graphic designer in several studios until he became self-employed in 2005. He discovered collage in 2006, and since then it has become an irreplaceable art form. His work has been exhibited and published nationally and internationally.
