UDIT UX Master's Degree students participate in the second edition of Telefónica Speed Talent
- After the success of the last edition, UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, offers its students to participate in a new edition of SpeedTalent, a training programme promoted by Telefónica that brings business reality closer to the academic training of university students.
In this new edition 2025, Open Innovation Campus (OICAMPUS) of Telefónica Innovación Digital, within its 'Innovation Plan for Talent', offers students of the Master's Degree in User Experience for the Design of Digital Products and Services of UDIT, to develop a SpeedTalent training project , which allows them to apply their knowledge and skills, and incorporate new competencies in innovation, necessary for their incorporation into the labour market.
The students who participated in this SpeedTalent had a personalised programme offered by the Telefónica Digital Innovation Experience Design team, which complements their university training with practical skills and business vision. Specifically, in the 24/25 course, UDIT students Alberto Camacho Bermúdez, Jimena de la Vega Sanz and María Teresa García Escribano, put their creativity to the test in a cutting-edge space and benchmark in Telefónica, where the technology of the future is co-designed with a people-centred approach.
They had the opportunity to be part of a new challenge and Telefónica offered them an interesting challenge: "Haptic bridges, connecting through touch", where they faced a key question:what if touch were the next revolution in human communication? From there, together with their tutors and mentors from Telefónica Beatriz Horcajo, Ana Cristina Mendiola and Ernesto Valerio, they designed accessible and inclusive digital experiences that use haptic technology to overcome communication barriers, exploring and researching who could benefit from these solutions and in what contexts.
With this initiative, Telefónica and UDIT reinforce their strategic collaboration and consolidate SpeedTalent as a two-way meeting space between the university and the world of work.
