More than 600 students from the official university degrees in Video Game Design and Development, Product Design, Multimedia and Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design; the British Degree in Animation, the Higher Level Training Cycle in 3D Animation, Games and Interactive Environments and the Official University Masters in Product Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design and User Experience celebrated last Friday 30th June the Graduation Ceremony of the 2022/2023 graduating class.

A solemn ceremony that was presided over by Juan Cayón, Rector Magnificent of UDIT, University of Design and Technology, who celebrated the passion, work, effort and future of the graduating students: "this act is full of symbolism and, for you, it means the culmination of much effort, the fulfilment of a goal and, for ESNE, for UDIT, also the crystallisation of the duty fulfilled, of the effort to transform you into better professionals and people". In addition, he also commented that: "it is in your hands to improve the world in which we live, to improve the companies and institutions you are going to join and, with this, to improve the environment as well. We need all of you in your jobs, with demand, with abnegation, with generosity and with courage; with authentic passion".

Verónica Pascual Boé, President of ASTI Foundation, was the godmother of the graduation of the graduates of the Technology Area. In her speech, Verónica Pascual addressed the students inviting them to become "the best entrepreneur of your life; it is the most important project you have in your hands. Be leaders of what happens to you and take the baton, don't give it to others".

The event was also attended by David de Prado Vázquez, Global Design Manager at IKEA, as a sponsor for the promotion of the Design degrees, who urged the students to always continue learning: "Today is not the end of anything, but the beginning of everything; your development and the development of design will depend on your curiosity and the effort you put into acquiring new knowledge, experimenting with new tools, exploring new approaches to the challenges of design... Value the work of others, think humbly about the consequences of what you do, do not be afraid of change, the professional path is long and with thousands of opportunities to reinvent yourself".

The University's teachers had a special role in the Ceremony, being recognised as the best teachers of the 2022-2023 academic year: Cruz Delgado Sánchez, as best teacher in the area of Animation; Ángel Rodríguez Ballesteros, as best teacher in the area of Video Games; Juan Carlos Pérez Gauli, as best teacher in the area of Graphic Design; Delfina Morán Arnaldo, as best teacher in the area of Product; Lucía López Cenamor, as best teacher in the area of Interiors; Ander Pardo Hormaza, as best teacher in the CFGS programme in 3D Animations, Games and Interactive Environments and Alberto Ramos Serrano as best teacher in the area of Fashion at the University.
