Infinite Thread Games Masterclass: The Adventure of an Independent Game Studio

Last Wednesday 13th November, the Auditorium of the Design and Creative Industries Campus of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, received the visit of Juan Pablo Guzmán and Carlos Martín García, Managing Director and Technical Artist, respectively, of the independent videogame studio Infinite Thread Games.
In this masterclass, which was open to all those interested, the Infinite Thread Games studio, which is currently developing Hidalgo, the Don Quixote videogame, talked about what the industry is like from the inside, how an independent title is developed, what challenges they have faced throughout this process, as well as explaining how they have overcome them and, finally, delving into the most curious details and secrets of the Hidalgo videogame.
The beginnings of an indie videogame studio
Infinite Thread Games is an emerging video game studio founded in 2020. Hitori Kakurenbo was their debut title, launching in December 2020 and is a single-player, survival horror style video game based on the ritual of the same name.
In March 2021, Infinite Thread Games was chosen to join LevelUp's Pre-Incubation Programme (Barcelina) to, in 2023, participate in Spielfabrique and Madrid in Game's European Videogame Accelerator incubation programme.
