The VEJA project, from design to repair

On Tuesday 21st November, the Multipurpose Space (Colombia Building) of the Design and Creative Industries Campus of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, hosted a masterclass given by Daniel Schmitt, in charge of the VEJA Repair Project and Brune de Rigaud, Corporate Communications Manager of the brand.

In this session, Schmitt and Rigaud presented the brand's project, mainly focused on the repair programme.

The most ecological shoes are the ones you are already wearing.

The "Clean, Repair, Collect" project, launched by VEJA in June 2020, is part of this idea.

The aim of this proposal is to offer customers the opportunity to clean and repair their shoes to extend their life, as well as to collect them for recycling if they cannot be repaired.
