The first year student of the Degree in Product Design at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, Jaime Campuzano, has won the Social Networks Award of the 11th Edition of the Design and Creation in Glass Competition of Verallia, the independent group manufacturer of glass containers for food and beverages in the world.

A competition in which university students from Spain and Portugal participate by designing innovative glass containers, with the aim of creating a unique and different product. The theme chosen for the 2024 edition, has been marked by the concept of product customisation as a facilitator of consumer attraction, since among the benefits that consumers currently seek in packaging are sustainability, convenience, safety/health, personalisation and experience.

The student's proposal, "NOA", is a bottle of rum inspired by the rapadura, which stands out as one of Tenerife's most stunning underwater landscapes. A rocky platform fragmented into huge prismatic blocks that evoke the shape of a cathedral organ. The name NOA means long life or long-lived, in honour of the years of these pillars.
