Smart device brand OPPO has announced the winners of the imagine IF Photography Awards, an annual competition created by the company to promote excellence in mobile photography globally.
Students, who were invited to participate through a partnership between UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, and OPPO, were able to submit their entries in two basic categories: photos taken with OPPO smartphones and photos taken without OPPO smartphones. In turn, these photographic works were divided into the following subcategories: Landscape, Portrait, Colours, Unforgettable Moments, Fashion, Snapshot, Light, Travel and Collection.
In the "With OPPO terminals" category, the first prize went to Anastasia Ruiz, student of the Degree in Product Design, in the "Landscape" subcategory; the second prize went to Yago Martínez, student of the Degree in Video Game Design and Development, in the "Snapshot" subcategory and to Claudia de la Cierva, student of the Degree in Interior Design, in the "Travel" subcategory; Finally, the third prize was awarded to Daniel Alcolea, student of the Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design in the "Journey" subcategory; to Aitor Ochoa, student of the Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design in the "Colours" subcategory and to Pablo Menéndez-Morán, student of the Degree in Video Game Design and Development in the "Landscape" subcategory.
On the other hand, in the category "Without OPPO terminals", we find the student of the Degree in Product Design Pablo Gil, who has won in the subcategory "Snapshots".
This competition has meant a strengthening of ties between the telephone company and the University and an important incentive for our students to develop their passion and put into practice all their creative potential.
