The Carrier is a first-person survival horror video game set in the 1960s, where the Lunar Landing has resulted in the destruction of the Earth's satellite, whose bare radioactive core irreparably contaminates the Earth.
In this adventure we assume the role of Nate Akerman, an amnesia sufferer who travels to the town of Glenwood Springs in the hope of regaining his memory. Unfortunately, most of the inhabitants have succumbed to the effects of the radiation, becoming ghastly mutated abominations or being devoured by them. The protagonist must explore the area and help the survivors to discover the truth.
