UDIT presents its specialised training offer in technology for the academic year 2024/2025
- Full-Stack Development, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics Applied to Software Engineering are the new official university degrees that UDIT will begin to offer next academic year.
UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology will offer three new official university degrees in the academic year 2024-2025: Degree in Full-Stack Development, Degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Degree in Mathematics Applied to Software Engineering.
Three new degrees within the technology area of UDIT, characterised by a specialisation positioned at the absolute forefront, as well as an updated curriculum focused on responding to the high labour demand for specialised professionals in the technology sector.
In the opinion of Javier Pascual, director of the new International Campus of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences, these new official university degrees: "they represent a totally disruptive training offer in Spain, both for the innovative nature of its training plan, as well as for the very high degree of experimentation of its subjects, especially focused on properly applying the most cutting-edge technologies to turn our students, from the demand, excellence and continuous human support, into the best professionals in the market, capable of successfully solving the different and complex challenges of the present and future real world, as demanded by national and international companies."
New training offer specialising in Technology, Innovation and Applied Science
Degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
This degree combines theoretical knowledge, through mathematical and statistical knowledge, and practical knowledge, thanks to learning in programming and databases, to develop and apply artificial intelligence models that solve complex problems in various industries based on the processing of the same data.
All this knowledge is intertwined and applied in various artificial intelligence systems within the fields of machine learning, deep learning or reinforcement learning. They are also applied in techniques and tools used to collect, transform, clean, process and analyse large amounts of data.
The student profile of this degree is that of the person in charge of designing, developing and training artificial intelligences to learn and carry out the necessary actions to achieve the objective; in other words, they are those who know in depth how the different artificial intelligences work.
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Applied to Software Engineering
Aimed at students who want to be trained in mathematics from a practical perspective, applied to the development and maintenance of software, this profile is in charge of finding and designing a solution to the problems posed, while the software engineer is the one who implements them.
He/she combines his/her mathematical knowledge with technical skills to solve complex problems in various fields related to software development and maintenance. They are responsible for the analysis, modelling and resolution of real situations using advanced mathematical methodologies, tools and techniques.
Degree in Full-Stack Development
This Degree provides the most complete profile in software development by combining knowledge of Back-End and Front-End development, allowing a deep understanding of all the technological layers behind all software development.
Its field of action is not limited to web development, but also includes the implementation of all types of software: mobile apps, desktop applications, distributed systems, real-time systems, high-performance systems, robotic programming and electronic devices, among other technologies.
7,000 m2 of state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to training in technology, innovation and applied sciences.
UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology will grow in the academic year 2024-2025 with a new and spectacular Campus dedicated to accommodate all students of the degrees in the areas of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences of the University.
The new UDIT Campus will have 7,000m2 of flexible and modular spaces to adapt to the different needs and types of projects and spaces for networking between students, teaching staff and companies.
It will also be equipped with the latest technology in network infrastructures, communications systems, laboratory equipment and collaborative work tools.
The building will house specialised laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for different areas of study, such as robotics, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, among others.
