UDIT, venue for the sixth edition of Game Jam Madrid Crea

For the sixth consecutive year, the Community of Madrid is holding the Game Jam Madrid Crea, one of the most important events in the world of video games.

The sixth edition of Game Jam Madrid Crea, an initiative organised by DEV (Spanish Association of Video Game and Entertainment Software Producers and Developers) and the Regional Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Community of Madrid, begins next Friday 15 November.

Participants will have 10 days - until Sunday 24 November - to develop games focusing on a cultural, tourist, historical or natural aspect of the Madrid Region. In addition, the special theme of this edition will be the Community of Madrid as a video game setting, where the most iconic locations, as well as lesser-known corners of the region, can become the backdrop for the creativity of the participants' stories.

The jam will have two modalities, online and on-site. The on-site modality will be held in Madrid at the headquarters of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, which opens its doors on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 November.

• 17:30 h - Inaugural talk by DEV and the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Community of Madrid at UDIT.
• 17:40 h - "Tips for participating in a Game Jam and enjoying it", with Lara Isabel Rodríguez.
• 18:00 h - Start of the Game Jam (face-to-face and online).
• 18:00 h - Bus transfer for participants from UDIT headquarters to the city centre.
• 18:30 h - Guided walking tour.
• 20:00 h - End of the day
