UDIT and ASTI Foundation sign a collaboration agreement that strengthens the technology area of the University.
In the search of establishing collaboration channels between both institutions, UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology and ASTI Foundation, have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of contributing to the scientific, technical, economic and social progress.
Among the multiple activities and actions included in this collaboration agreement, it is worth mentioning the launching of the scholarships for ASTI Foundation, which will allow the best students of some of its programmes to study the Official University Master in Artificial Intelligence and to participate in Summer Camps specialised in Product Design.
UDIT will be actively involved in the organisation of conferences and workshops within the framework of the ASTI Foundation training programmes and will also promote research, transfer, dissemination, teaching and innovation activities in the field of design and technology.
Digital transformation, industry and vocation in science
ASTI Foundation was born from the awareness of the important challenges posed by the digital transformation era, at a time when industry is finding it increasingly difficult to find STEM profiles and knowing that the professionals of the future will be essential to continue advancing in this transformation. With the aim of training students in key skills for the jobs of the future, ASTI Talent & Tech Foundation develops various programmes throughout the year focused on different audiences: STEM Talent Girl and FP Steam to awaken the vocation in science and technology of girls and young women throughout their educational process; Ruralbotics, which brings robotics and technology in general to children in deprived Spain, promoting equal opportunities; or STEM Talent Kids, to promote interest in technology from an early age.
