  • UX Master's students Nuria Berruezo, Brenda G. Chorén, Alazne Casas win the first prize of Ideathon x Amadeus worth 2,500 euros.

Amadeus has organised in ESNE the first edition of "Ideathon x Amadeus", a creative marathon that has challenged the students of the University to come up with a professional proposal around the metaverse and technology.

The challenge launched by the leading provider of technological solutions for the travel industry in ESNE was attended by 70 students from all undergraduate and postgraduate degrees of the University with 27 potential projects.

After a first phase, there were 15 proposals that met all the requirements demanded by Amadeus and, from all of them, 5 proposals passed to the final phase.

These five projects, carried out and presented by the students in English, were presented to a panel composed of Amadeus executives and members of the academic and professional team of ESNE.

Representing Amadeus were Luciano Pollastri, Global People & Culture Director, Employee Experience and People Analytics; Nicolas Hauviller, Senior Lead Innovation in Research Department, and Diego Heredia, VP Corporate Strategy, while on the ESNE side, the jury included Javier Morales, Director of the Technology Area; David Alonso, Director of the Degree in Design and Development of Video Games and Virtual Environments and Sergio Reyes, responsible for special actions in the Video Games area.

The Amadeus representatives were very satisfied with the level of the proposals presented and highlighted not only the high quality of all the works, but also the youth and poise when defending their projects in a language that is not the native language of the students, especially of the five finalists,
