  • The University reinvents these Camps in its thirteenth edition, under the name of Summertrip 2025

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology is organising, for the thirteenth consecutive year, its Summer Camps, the summer training offer aimed at students in the 3rd and 4th years of ESO, 1st and 2nd years of Bachillerato interested in design, innovation and technology.

On this occasion, UDIT wanted to reinvent and turn these camps into a total experience for the students. These programmes, which will take place between 30 June and 11 July, add to the educational activity a series of immersive experiences that can be enjoyed, in addition to the students enrolled, by their own families.

These are optional and complementary activities in which they will be able to visit spaces, entities or organisations directly related to the training received, as well as taking part in various workshops.

These experiences, for their part, will be completed with a Camp Party, in which all students will connect and enjoy a creative gymkhana.

A wide range of activities adapted to future university students

In its thirteenth edition, the UDIT Summer Camps offer the following training programmes:

  • Fashion Camp: Aimed at fashion lovers, who will be able to get to know the methodology of this industry in depth and acquire an overview of it. As immersive experiences, students will be able to enjoy a guided visit to the Costume Museum and a Botanical Priming Workshop.

  • TrendsInterior Camp: Designed for those interested in Interior Design, through this programme they will be able to acquire knowledge about the conceptual, visual and technological areas of design, and will learn about the different phases of project development. Their immersive experiences will include a visit to Cerámicas La Paloma and the Gancedo Madrid warehouse, as well as a specialised workshop in UDIT's FabLab.

  • Videogame Camp: For many young people, their dream is to create their own videogame. This programme will allow them to acquire the fundamental artistic and technological basis to do so, touching on art, design, production and programming. As immersive experiences, they will be able to visit Madrid In Game and the company Singular Things, as well as enjoy the presentation of the video game studio Studio Indie.

  • Graphic & Audiovisual Camp: Students will be immersed in the world of graphic and audiovisual design, as well as in the wide universe of illustration, and will learn about the main creative techniques. Their immersive experiences will be a visit to the Colour Exhibition at the Fundación Juan March, as well as different workshops organised at the university.

  • Anima Camp: This programme gives students the opportunity to delve into 2D animation and learn about essential tools in this industry. In addition to developing their own short film, as immersive experiences, students will be able to visit a Motion Capture studio and enjoy the presentation of various alumni projects.

  • Maker & Code Camp: Those with a special interest in AI will be able to acquire the basics here, receiving an introduction to programming languages and learning about the main applications of AI today. They can also enjoy a workshop visit on digital twins and the presentation of alumni projects.

Training in their passion

The UDIT Summer Camps allow young students to delve deeper into their interests and kick-start their specialised training at an early stage.

Thus, during the two-week Summertrip, they will learn a work methodology and a trade; a specialised training that will be complemented by immersive experiences and that, in addition, will be an enriching and unforgettable experience.
