The Vice-Rectorate for Research of UDIT receives a representation of Colombian entrepreneurs from the education, technology and innovation sector.
With the aim of exploring opportunities for academic and business collaboration and, within the framework of the activities being developed by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI), UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology has received a visit from a delegation of Colombian businessmen from the education, technology and innovation sector.
The Colombian delegation was made up of Tito José Crissien Borrero, renowned entrepreneur, former Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Colombia and former Rector of the Universidad de la Costa (CUC); Lina Zambrano, co-founder of Iriz Marketing and creator of the "Redes para Emprender" project; Eduardo Crissien Borrero, Rector of the Universidad de la Costa; Astelio Silvera, Rector of the Universidad de la Costa; Astelio Silvera, Rector of the Corporación Universitaria Iditek; Franklin Navarro Stefanell, research professor at the Universidad de la Costa (CUC); Ana María Echeverría, advisor to higher education institutions; Armando de la Hoz, manager of the Idis Foundation and financial consultant and Wilfrido de la Rosa Viloria, Executive Sales Director at Mangus SAS and MBA professor at the Universidad de la Costa (CUC).
This visit, developed with the intention of promoting the exchange of knowledge and the creation of joint projects that benefit both Spanish and Colombian institutions, served as a meeting point for UDIT's Vice Rector for Research, José Luis Olazagoitia, the Principal Investigators of the University's research groups, the OTRI team and UDIT's Director of Corporate Relations, Karolina Cintrón.
The meeting focused on sharing the research carried out at UDIT through the research groups and the possibility of formalising joint research projects funded by national and international entities.
