Carenado TiBOX 4.0, Hexagon Metrology

TiBOX is a project that explores the influence of aesthetics, interaction and user experience in the design of machinery in the industrial sector. It takes Industry 4.0 as a design reference and starting point, from which personalised products are born with greater interaction with the user, for a better experience and, consequently, an increase in productivity and a reduction in costs. The enclosure takes an earlier design from Hexagon Metrology and makes it more efficient and integrated with the accompanying machine, through improvements such as hands-free opening, 270° access to the machine, control of the CMM system via a rotating display, among other features. All this reduces the use of the machine from 8 to only 4 steps.
