As a result of the transversal collaboration between different subjects of the Degree in Fashion Design, the Fashion Department of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology has organised the exhibition Materia Viva: Nuevas Narrativas del Vestir (Living Matter: New Narratives of Dress).

An exhibition that took place in the Multipurpose Space of the building located in Calle Colombia, from Tuesday 16 January until Friday 19 January, in which could be seen, in addition to garments finished by the students, different textile research notebooks that helped them to work during their creative process.

The aim of this exhibition is to reflect on the creative processes and methodologies that generate significance in the environment, which corresponds to the central axis of the subjects that have led to the development of this exhibition project; in this way, different proposals have been developed that place textile research at the centre as the axis that vertebrates different social and environmental problems at the present time.
