Ana Tocino, student of the Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, has won the sixth edition of the ANFACO-BANCO SABADELL FOUNDATION design award, a competition that recognises excellence and creativity in the design of packaging for canned fish and seafood.

Promoted by the Banco Sabadell Foundation and ANFACO-CECOPESCA, the competition consists of the creation of packaging for the tins used in the "Cata la Lata" campaign to promote the consumption of tinned fish and seafood.

This year, 171 young talents of different nationalities and under 35 years of age competed for the prize, and the winner was a student.

Her proposal, inspired by the Pantone colours, allows the product to take centre stage and aims to make it more appetising without the need to show it in its entirety. The chromatic choice was made based on the product, trying to highlight the qualities of each one and make it quickly recognisable.

The awards ceremony, held at the Palacio de la Oliva in Vigo, was attended by different representatives from the artistic, advertising, political and business spheres.
