A Fine Arts graduate, visual artist, painter and printmaker, he develops a body of work on the boundaries of symbolic metaphysical figuration. He has worked from his Madrid studio since 2001, producing both original works and editions of his graphic work. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions at fairs, competitions and galleries, receiving major awards. His work is represented in both public and private collections.
He has an extensive body of graphic work, which provides him with a constant field for experimentation. At the same time, he develops artist’s sketchbooks that serve as a window into new ways of understanding the visual image. He has also worked in illustration and self-publishing with Equipo 4Hilos.
He is highly active in teaching, delivering specialist courses and master’s modules in printmaking and contemporary analogue techniques at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Museo ABC (Madrid), Fundación CIEC (A Coruña) and the University of Design and Technology (UDIT).
