Néstor Muñoz Torrecilla

He holds a PhD with an international specialisation in Audiovisual Communication, Advertising and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid, where he also completed master’s degrees in Sociocultural Analysis of Knowledge and Communication and in Audiovisual Communication in the Digital Age. He combines his academic background with extensive previous experience in audiovisual production and digital communication.
He is a member of the GECA (Gender, Aesthetics and Audiovisual Culture) research group. He has taught at various Spanish universities and collaborates with the University of Leipzig (Germany). His publications appear in journals such as *Fotocinema* and *Discursos fotográficos*, and with publishers such as Fragua and Tirant lo Blanch.
