UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology has once again participated in the annual blood donation campaign organised by the Red Cross. Under the slogan "We are looking for reasons to donate blood", the non-profit organisation seeks to encourage citizens to find in themselves the reasons to donate.

In the case of UDIT, 95 people took the initiative to donate, of whom 83 were finally able to do so. This volume of contributions represents assistance for a total of 249 patients, as each of these donations saves three lives.

After several consecutive years participating in this initiative, both students and academic and non-teaching staff of the University made their donations, once again being an example of generosity and collaboration.

Blood donations are essential to be able to carry out life-saving treatments and interventions; therefore, every year the Red Cross organises marathons with the aim of increasing the reserves of the different blood groups and, in this way, being able to count on sufficient resources when it comes to carrying out the necessary transfusions.
