The Spanish eSports Team of FEJUVES, sponsored by UDIT, champions of Europe efootball23 and runner-up of Europe efootball24.
The FEJUVES Spanish eSports Team has managed to win the titles of European champion and runner-up in the efootball23 and efootball24 categories respectively.
Thanks to the participation of professional player Miguel Mestre (Bayern Munich esports), the team, sponsored by UDIT, University of Design and Technology, was able to win the trophy for the best team at the European Games Esports Championships (#EGE23), organised by the Global Esports Federation (GEF) and the European Olympic Committee in Katowice, Poland.
In addition, the Spanish national team has also managed to win the runner-up spot in the European Championship of the International eSports Federation (IeSF) in the efootball24, thanks to the participation of the Valencian player Miguel Mestre. This was the first international championship played with the efootball24 game and took place as part of the "Thinking Football Summit", which acts as a meeting point for the leading players in the world of virtual football.
Finally, the Spanish National Team, represented by Miguel Mestre, finished in fourth position, out of a total of 111 countries, in the XV edition of the Esports World Cup, the most important event in the gaming and esports universe, held in the city of Iași, Romania.
Other milestones that the national team faces in the coming weeks are the European online qualifier for Street Fighter 6 and the GEF World Cup, which takes place from 11 to 16 December in Riyadh.
