A total of 6 students from different degrees at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, have won INSPIRATHON '25, the creative and design marathon that seeks to highlight the transformative power of creativity of young designers in Spain.
In this edition, which has enjoyed the collaboration of L'Oreal Paris and the magazine El Duende, the students had to develop a proposal for coasters inspired by the Stand Up campaign by L'Oreal Paris, against street harassment of women.
Avril Kreimer, student of the Degree in Advertising and Brand Creation, has won the First Prize thanks to her work, in which she has played with the slogan of the campaign and merged it with the functionality of the coaster itself, resulting in the word game Stand Cup.
The podium was completed by Ana María Sánchez, a student of the same degree, with coasters that show how apparently inoffensive situations can cross the line of respect and become harassment, and Diana Vaquerizo, a Bachelor in Multimedia & Graphic Design student, whose project combined L'Oreal Paris products with the messages of the campaign.
In turn, the creative duo formed by Laura Lozano and Sara Sánchez, students of the Bachelor in Multimedia & Graphic Design, has been recognised with the Fourth Prize, with a project in which they have opted mainly for typographic design and the use of irony in their powerful messages. The Fifth Prize has been awarded to Irene Matheu (Bachelor in Multimedia & Graphic Design), with a powerful proposal that gives much prominence to illustration.
Likewise, at the prize-giving ceremony, which took place on 10 April at the Multiespacio of the UDIT Design and Creative Industries Campus, the works of Ayla Cano and Eva Sahuquillo, Carmen García and Ángela Gutiérrez, who were finalists, received public recognition.
Public prize
As every year, a public competition was launched through UDIT's social networks, in which users could choose their favourite designs among those selected by the Professional Jury. After several days of intense voting (almost 2,000 votes were received), Laura Lozano and Sara Sánchez's project was chosen by the University's followers as the best of this edition of INSPIRATHON.
