UDIT, PlayStation Talents Partner University

The Animation and Video Games Area of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, has lived 2025 marked by initiatives that focus on student talent and connect academic training with the industry. Through professional fairs, their own competitions and participation in national and international festivals, students and alumni have demonstrated their creative, technical and narrative skills in projects with a high professional level. 

UDIT will be present at Gamergy 2025, one of the biggest video game and esports festivals in the world. An unprecedented event with spaces for tournaments, gaming areas, immersive experiences and activities, which will take place between 12 and 14 December at IFEMA  Madrid .

For the fourth consecutive year, UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, is taking part in the Bilbao International Games (BIG) Conference, which will be held in the city of Bizkaia on 12 and 13 December.

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, has been an active part of the BCN Game Fest, held on 10, 11 and 12 October in the Catalan capital. This event, which stems from the legacy of IndieDevDay, is presented as the definitive hub where industry leaders, creative minds and innovative projects come together to shape the future of video games . 

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, is collaborating once again this year, in this case as the official venue, with the Game Jam Madrid Crea, an event organised by DEV and the Regional Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Community of Madrid. In its seventh edition, it invites video game developers, of any level, to create original digital experiences that highlight the cultural, historical, touristic and natural richness of the scenarios offered by the Community of Madrid . 

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, was the first educational institution to offer an Official University Degree in Video Game Design and Development in Spain. In addition, it is currently the only curriculum that incorporates specialisations in Art, Design and Programming.

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology will teach, from the next academic year 2025/2026, the Online Degree in Design and Development of Video Games and Virtual Environments, a remote mode of one of the flagship degrees of the institution.
