As a result of the collaboration agreement developed between UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology and the Fundación Casa de México in Spain, and as part of the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Mexican design promotion platform, Mexicouture, the renowned Mexican designers Julia and Renata, Jorge Ayala, Kris Goyri and Carla Fernández have participated in an intensive training plan on the business of the fashion design sector organised and developed by UDIT.

This training programme has been developed during two weeks in which the Mexican designers have had the opportunity to participate in different master classes given by renowned professionals of the sector such as Jorge Redondo, Founder and Creative Director of the firm Redondo Brand; María Sañudo, Marketing and Communication Director of Cortefiel and Pedro del Hierro (TENDAM Group); Magali Yus, Director of External Relations and Communication of El Corte Inglés or Lavina Ligas and Ayoko Yokota, co-founders of Atelier Aletheia, among others.

Throughout the different sessions of the training plan, the designers have had the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the fashion sector, adapting tools in fundamental aspects that they will be able to implement in their own businesses such as internationalisation and growth strategies, negotiation and communication skills, advanced customer management technologies or textile circularity practices to promote a more ethical and sustainable industry.
