Presentation
Alberto Ballesteros Barea (Madrid, 1994) trained as an architect at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, where he is currently working on his doctoral thesis. His research explores how architecture is capable of giving tangible form to poetic references, understanding it as a humanistic expression that connects culture and history, imagination and memory.
After working in the Education department of the Norman Foster Foundation, he joined the team at Arquitectura Viva magazine, where he has been an editor and writer since 2020. Together with Enrique Morillo, he is one of the founders of barea pizarro, a studio that combines professional practice with editorial, teaching and outreach work.
