Alejandra Santamaría Melenchón

She holds a degree in architecture from the Escuela Superior of the CEU San Pablo University in Madrid, where she completed both her undergraduate degree and her professional master’s degree. She is a member of the Picado de Blas architecture practice, which specialises in design, public works, hotels, property development, landscape architecture and more. She also worked for several months at Rubio Arquitectura and Zooco Estudio, where she worked on a wide variety of projects. She has collaborated with the ARIE Research Group (Architecture, Efficient Installations), addressing issues related to energy efficiency and building services in architecture. He has published a Q1 research article for WILEY on sustainable lighting design, ensuring efficiency, health and human wellbeing. He has extensive international experience, including spending a year studying for his bachelor’s degree in architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan and four years as a student in the United States, in Miami and Tennessee.
