Daniel is a Multisector CDO with more than 20 years of experience in Data & Analytics, currently working at the corporate level at Repsol as Global Head of Data. He is an expert in enabling digitalisation and decision making in international companies by defining strategy and leading multidisciplinary teams working with data and ia (business intelligence, governance, architecture and data science) to help different organisations turn their data into a strategic asset. He is recognised for his ability to translate complex information into actionable insights for both senior and middle management through advanced data visualisation(in 2020 he was awarded the prize for Best Data Visualisation Project by the Club de CDOs de España & Latam, consolidating his position as a benchmark in this discipline).
He has been combining his professional activity with teaching for 10 years, giving executive trainings, workshops and specialised classes in Dataviz, BI and data architecture (bringing to the classroom the real cases, challenges and criteria that define high-level professional practice). He also collaborates in dissemination activities as a speaker/advisor in reference forums such as Smart Data Spain, CDO Day or communities of AI leaders such as Best Voices Spain where he is co-founder.
