Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Havana, with more than ten years of experience in applied research in materials science, polymers, and nanostructured systems. Her work has focused on the design, synthesis, and characterization of functional materials, including magnetic nanocomposites, nanocellulose-based hybrid systems, and catalytic materials aimed at sustainable processes. She has presented research findings at international conferences and contributed to scientific publications in the field of advanced materials.

In recent years, her research has been directed toward the development of biocompatible and biodegradable materials for innovative applications. She has worked on the production and characterization of polymeric films for food packaging, adsorbent hydrogels for water treatment, and controlled-release macrobeads for agricultural applications. This work involved synthesis processes, physicochemical analysis, formulation optimization, and performance validation through experimental testing.

Her career combines research with extensive teaching experience in general, inorganic, and materials chemistry, together with solid expertise in laboratory management. She has led multidisciplinary teams, supervised advanced scientific instrumentation, and participated in several R&D projects focused on biomaterials and process optimization, building a comprehensive understanding of the entire functional materials development cycle.
