María Cifuentes Ochoa

She has worked as an editor at Arquitectura Viva magazine (2001–2011), as an associate lecturer at ETSAM-UPM (2006–2015), and has been practising as an architect in private practice since qualifying. She has contributed to the construction of buildings such as the new German School in Madrid (World Architecture Festival Award 2016), the Steigenberger Hotel in Cologne, Germany, and the Metropolitano Stadium for Atlético Madrid (awarded the 2017 Best Public Works Prize by the Spanish Association of Engineers, and the 2018 Best Stadium in the World Prize by the World Football Summit).
