Marta López Pedregosa

A fourth-year student on the Bachelor’s degree in Product Design at UDIT, she is currently an intern in the research department. For the past two years, she has focused her work on the study of mycomaterials within the DESIRe group, where she has broadened her knowledge through various practical training courses. She is currently working on her final-year project, which focuses on the use of mycelium and mycomaterials for the benefit of society. Her work centres on finding applications for this new material, guided by a philosophy of care and respect for the material, and incorporating a range of disciplines – from technology to craftsmanship – into her projects.
