Presentation
Natalia Matesanz Ventura is an architect, holds a PhD from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and is a researcher at the same institution; she graduated from the University of Alcalá and holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Projects from the ETSAM UPM. Her research explores affective-dissident human practices that transform the city and normative architecture.
She is the creative director and founder of cumuloLimbo studio, an architecture and interior design practice in Madrid, but her desire to approach the world from different angles has led her to co-found a research journal, as well as to produce fanzines, write academic articles and co-design exhibitions, stage designs, participatory processes and urban spaces such as Madrid’s Campo de Cebada.
She has collaborated with the IMNA (Institute of Environmental Narratives at Centro Matadero Madrid) and with the ITD-UPM (UPM Institute of Technological Development).
