Pedro Balsa

Mining Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, with an MBA and a Higher Course in Sustainable Finance. He is currently Managing Director of Leapman, a consultancy firm specialising in Project Management and Risk Management. He also holds international certifications such as PMP®, PRINCE2 Practitioner® and PMO Practitioner (Honors). Throughout his career he has held roles as Risk Manager, Project Manager, Project Director and PMO Director, standing out for his focus on integrated project lifecycle management and strategic decision making.

He has more than 20 years of international experience, having worked in more than 20 countries and led complex projects in sectors such as mining, energy, engineering and technological innovation. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of PMI Madrid and an expert evaluator in European programmes such as Horizon Europe and in strategic initiatives of the European Union such as the Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA).
