Rosa María Barrero Palomino

She holds a degree in Architecture from the Higher Technical School of Architecture at the University of Seville. She was awarded an Erasmus+ grant to undertake an academic placement at the Polytechnic University of Milan as part of her studies. She is currently a pre-doctoral researcher at the University of Design, Innovation and Technology, and is working on her thesis within the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programme in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Her research focuses on the study of structural patterns and principles found in nature from a bionic perspective, exploring how these can be applied to architectural design processes.
