UDIT participates, for the tenth consecutive year, in Casa Decor
- Casa Decor, Spain's largest interior design, design, trends and lifestyle platform, celebrates its 60th edition
The students of the Degree in Interior Design and the Master's Degree in Interior Design at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, will participate for the tenth consecutive year in Casa Decor, the largest interior design, design, trends and lifestyle platform in Spain.
For this 60th edition, which will be held at 33 Sagasta Street in Madrid, Casa Decor has chosen an imposing building of more than 7,000 m2, which occupies the entire front of Sagasta Street, from Plaza de Alonso Martínez to Covarrrubias Street.
The imposing façade of the building is crowned by two octagonal towers at the corners and a central trapezoidal tower, from which a row of balconies and glazed bay windows emerge, giving the façade dynamism.
Built between 1899 and 1901 by the Bilbao architect Luis de Landecho Jordán y Urríes, this "Casa Decor building" is a clear example of the eclecticism of Madrid at the end of the 19th century, following the trends of neo-Gothic rationalism.
With this choice, Casa Decor maintains its identity in the search for the most unique locations in the capital, through which visitors can discover Madrid's rich architectural heritage.
Spain's largest interior design, trends and lifestyle platform
Casa Decor will open its doors to the public from 3 April to 18 May, giving space to a large number of proposals developed by both established professionals and promising young interior designers.
Participation in this event by students of the Degree in Interior Design and the Master's Degree in Interior Design at UDIT is a great opportunity for, firstly, the possibility of executing a real project and, secondly, for the possibility of interacting with great professionals in the sector while at the same time creating their own network of contacts.
